Lionfish & Lobster Hunting Trip**
$350 Trip duration: 9-10 hours
Service Description
Hunt the invasive and incredibly tasty Lionfish, along with the opportunity to catch both the Atlantic Spiney Lobster and the succulent Slipper lobster A great opportunity to begin learning the intricacies of spearfishing and the benefits of selective harvesting. While targeting an invasive and voracious predator to help protect and conserve the resources that we are so lucky to enjoy. 3-tank trip 25-45 miles offshore Depth’s from 75-110 feet Does NOT include tanks Lionfish spears and containment devices are provided All dives are “unguided” **additional dive experience/qualifications and equipment required. Divers must be EANx/Nitrox certified and have a minimum of 25 logged dives with at least 2 logged dives deeper than 75 feet within the past 12 months. We "Drift Dive" when spearfishing, all divers must also carry a wreck reel, and an SMB/DSMB.
Cancellation Policy
Trips cancelled 7 days prior incur no penalty. For reserved spots cancelled within the 7 day window, we will reopen the reserved spot to be filled by another diver. If the spot isn't filled and the boat runs, you will be responsible for the price of the trip! If you cannot make a trip you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible. Weather in North Carolina can be unpredictable at times, ultimately it is the captain’s call on if we run and what dive site we go to. If a dive site is changed due to conditions, the trip cost will be adjusted as necessary. The captain and crew reserve the right to refuse a diver from entering the water due to conditions, diver and guest safety considerations or unsafe diving practices. *passengers who fail to dive due to seasickness, gear failure, or any other reason are responsible for the price of the trip*
